Summary
DBcAMP significantly increased blood glucose within 30 min in the rat without showing any side effects. This increase of blood glucose was inhibited when 0.1 mg of Ppl was injected 20 min before administration of DBcAMP. When a similar dose of Ppl was injected 90 min before administration of DBcAMP, Ppl failed to inhibit the increase of blood glucose produced by DBcAMP.
