Summary
Monkey kidney (BS-C-1) and canine kidney (MDCK) cell cultures were inoculated with Mycoplasma hominis, M. orale, and M. salivarium. Growth of these mycoplasma was inhibited when the cultures were propagated in media buffered with TRICINE or a TRICINE–bicarbonate combination.
