Abstract
Summary
When sarcomatous adult mice were inoculated intraperitoneally with certain viruses, virus replication took place and the ascitic fluids subsequently harvested provided a good source of virus stocks and antigens for hemagglutination and complement-fixation tests. Satisfactory antigens were obtained for arboviruses of groups A, B, C, Phlebotomus fever, Simbu, Uukuniemi, and Congo.
