Summary

DNA-dependent RNA polymerase(s) from the Ehrlich ascites tumor was inhibited by the periodate oxidation product of β-D-ribosyl-6-methylthiopurine. The inhibitions of RNA synthesis was correlated with inhibition of protein synthesis.
