Abstract
Summary
Comparison by autoradiographic means of the labeling of myeloid, nucleated erythroid, and lymphoid blood cells in animals injected with tritiated thymidine and animals injected with tritiated thymidine and leucogenenol indicated that leucogenenol increases the incorporation of DNA in the primitive proliferating pool of cells and increases the rate of transformation of myeloid and lymphoid blood cells. There are indications that the rate of transformation of nucleated erythroid cells is also increased by leucogenenol.
