Abstract
Summary
Urinary bone marrow colony stimulating activity has been studied in four patients undergoing elective operative procedures. These studies have shown a close correlation between colony stimulating activity and rises and falls in the peripheral granulocyte count. These data add further biologic evidence to support the concept that urinary colony stimulating activity may represent a true leukopoietic substance.
