Abstract
Summary
Intracamerally infused formaldehyde produced miosis, vasodilatation, and ocular hypertension similar to those produced by topically applied formaldehyde. A small delayed ocular hypertension was also observed in the other noninfused eye. Topical administration of isoproterenol, epinephrine, norepinephrine, or phenylephrine prevented the ocular hypertensive response to intracamerally infused formaldehyde.
