Abstract
Summary
Syrian Golden hamsters survived single dose levels of 2100 mg of DDT/kg of body weight, which is about six times the LD50 of MA inbred mice. Long-term feeding studies in hamsters at 500 and 1000 ppm of DDT in the diet showed a slight decrease in survivals, but no significant increase of tumor incidence.
