Abstract
Summary
Delayed hypersensitivity was produced in guinea pigs with 0.8 to 100 μg of “C protein” from protoplasm of BCG bacilli incorporated in incomplete Freund's adjuvant and injected into the foot pads of guinea pigs. Delayed reactions were elicited as early as 5 and as late as 40 days after sensitization. In highly sensitized animals, 0.16 μg of antigen elicited definite delayed reactions.
