Abstract
Summary
The serum antibody response in volunteers experimentally infected with 1 of 2 inclusion conjunctivitis strains (IC Cal 3 or IC Cal 8) was studied by the complement fixation (C'F) and indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) methods. In some sera the C'F-reactive antibodies were detected 1–2 weeks earlier than the IFA-reactive antibodies and peak titers, by either test, were attained about 4 weeks after infection.
