Summary
Tumor tissues from 12 neuro-blastomas, one benign pheochromocytoma, one malignant pheochromocytoma, and one ganglioneuroma were analyzed for HVA. Autopsy specimens of heart, lung, liver, spleen, kidney, and adrenal gland were analyzed also. The compound was detected in 9 of the neuroblastomas and in the malignant pheochromocytoma. A small amount was detected in adrenal tissue.
