Summary
Intravenous injection of insulin (2.0 U/kg) did not have any effect on the elevation of plasma FFA concentration produced by the injection of 20.0 μg/kg of glucagon in geese, ducks, and roosters. Intravenous injection of insulin (2.0 U/kg) in geese caused marked hypoglycemia, but no decrease of plasma FFA concentration.
