Abstract
Summary
Intraperitoneal administration of human amyloid spleen homogenate together with casein caused amyloidosis in recipient C3H mice within 5 days. The results suggest the existence of a factor accelerating induction of amyloidosis that is active across histocompatibility barriers and provide a simpler model without immunosuppressive agents for further investigations of this transfer factor.
