Abstract
Summary
Delayed skin reactivity has been induced in guinea pigs sensitized with a water soluble extract of Entamoeba histolytica (histolyticin) grown axenically, and incorporated in complete Freund's type of adjuvant. These guinea pigs were suitable for dose response determinations of the antigen. Little, if any difference in induced skin reactivity was noted between antigen from organisms cultivated in the presence of horse serum and rabbit serum.
