Abstract
Summary
Rats made diabetic by administration of alloxan were found to exhibit a marked impairment of their ability to rid their blood either of exogenous or endogenously derived triglyceride. No defect in the absorption of triglyceride or secretion of endogenous triglyceride into plasma was observed. The defect in triglyceride clearing was largely correctible by administration of insulin.
