Summary
Trichinella spiralis immune human serum macroglobulin inhibits complement fixation with Trichinella carbohydrate and whole serum. The macroglobulin preparations possess specific agglutination activity and the inhibitor is characterized as immunoglobulin M (IgM) which does not incorporate complement in its union with antigen.
