Abstract
Summary
The deoxyribonucleosides are excellent substrates for studying DPNH-linked reactions under physiological conditions without the interference of TPNH formation. Glutathione was not significantly reduced using deoxyadenosine in intact methyl phenylazoformate-treated erythrocytes. Incubation of samples with deoxyadenosine did not affect GSH regeneration with dextrose.
