Summary
When West Nile virus was added to cultures of L-929 mouse fibroblasts, characteristic morphological changes were produced. The infected cultures were not destroyed although infectious virus was consistently demonstrated in the growth medium. Infected cells were readily subcultured and the virus-cell relationship was continued without any alteration in cultural procedures.
