Summary
The effect of βAPN on bone collagen was studied in tissue culture. It was found that the lathryrogen modified the solubility characteristics of only that fraction of collagen which was synthesized in the presence of βAPN, and did not affect the bone collagen which was synthesized prior to the exposure of the tissue to βAPN.
