Abstract
Summary
Inbred mice multiparous by males of a genetically unrelated strain develop anti-male strain hemagglutinins in reaction to the paternally inherited immunogens introduced by the fetus. The isohemagglutinins show marked undulations in titer which are not associated with stage of pregnancy nor with whether or not the female is gravid. The undulations may be representative of the cyclical variations described for a variety of immune responses by other investigators.
