Summary
Rabbit kidney cells transformed by SV 40 virus continue to shed virus. Only a small proportion of transformed cells released virus into the supernatant medium at any given time. However, on prolonged contact with susceptible cells, each transformed cell or its progeny was shown to release virus eventually.
