Summary
Resistance to leukemogenesis by RMLV and to RMLV induced transplantable tumors is described for BALB/c mice following immunization with intact or ruptured tissue culture cells infected with Rauscher mouse leukemia virus. Resistance was also developed after immunization with attenuated RMLV. A significant difference was noted in the immunologic response of mice following injection of virus or cells derived from two different mouse cell lines.
