Abstract
Summary
Cell lines and strains were studied with respect to possession of G-6-PD isoenzymes, using cellulose acetate strips and sucrose-agar gel electrophoretic media. The latter provided higher resolution of A and B bands. The A and B types of G-6-PD were found to occur in human, diploid cultured cell populations in accordance with racial origin of the donor; while certain other heteroploid cell lines were found to possess A type G-6-PD irrespective of donor race.
