Summary
Phosphorylase activity was measured at intervals during the first 8 days of pregnancy in the ovarian interstitial tissue of New Zealand white rabbits. Levels of phosphorylase a remained constant during the period studied while a rapid transformation of phosphorylase b (37% at estrus) to phosphorylase a (95% phosphorylase a 1.5 hours after mating) was noted.
