Abstract
Summary
The antigenicity of several known mycobacteriophages was determined in rabbits. The concentration of antibody production was low (K values 100 or less). The kinetics of neutralization showed that the D29, and not the Leo or R1, phage-antiphage system was exponential. The amounts, but not the rates, of antibody produced were dependent on the route used to inject the animals. No cross neutralization occurred between the heterologous phage-antiphage systems.
