Summary
The indirect fluorescent antibody technique revealed local concentrations of parathyroid hormone in intercellular tissue spaces between cords and within acini formed primarily of chief cells in bovine parathyroid glands. In this study, specific immunofluorescence was not seen within parenchymal cells of the parathyroid gland.
