Summary
Aminopyrine, indomethacin, phenylbutazone, and sodium salicylate were observed to inhibit precipitation reactions on incubation of egg albumin with rabbit anti-egg albumin. Concentrations of anti-inflammatory agents needed to produce inhibition of antigen-antibody reactions in vitro far exceeded reported plasma levels in humans.
