Abstract
Summary
Rats that received alphanaphthyl-isothiocyanate (ANIT) in their food developed intrahepatic bile duct hyperplasia. Immunochemical studies revealed additional antigens in the ANIT treated liver compared to that of the normal liver. These antigens were shown to be localized in the basal membrane of the intrahepatic bile ducts.
