Abstract
Summary
DNA, isolated by 2 methods from purified A. marginale, was found to possess average molar ratios of A/T and G/C of 1.9 and 2.65, respectively. There was also a lack of increase in hyperchromicity of isolated DNA in thermal denaturation studies. Attempts to isolate RNA or to detect U were unsuccessful.
