Abstract
Summary
Lifetime voluntary activity studies on non-irradiated mice from 10-30 generations of X-irradiated progenitor males were done. Mice from irradiated lines were equally active to nonirradiated line mice. It was apparent from the results of these investigations that 30 generations (the equivalent of 900 years in man) of X irradiation totaling 6000 rads failed to produce a genetic decrement measurable in terms of reduced vigor.
