Abstract
Summary
The arthritogenic properties of 2 strains of M. hominis, type 2, were demonstrated. The virulence of these was comparable to that of M. arthritidis, strain ATCC 14124, but was less than that of a recent rat isolate, strain PN. The results support the identity of M. hominis, type 2, with the rat species, M. arthritidis.
