Summary
A rapid, specific immunfluores-cent test for typing TRIC bedsonia is described. Antisera are prepared by inoculating highly purified antigen intracardially in guinea pigs which are bled in 7-10 days. This in vitro test correlates closely with mouse protection tests and the results indicate that there are at least 3 immunologic types of TRIC bedsonia.
