Abstract
Summary
It has been demonstrated that angiotensin hyperresponsivity can be induced in the normotensive animal by a behavioral stimulus. This hyperresponsivity is limited to the period immediately following application of the stimulus. It is not associated with a change in baseline pressure and does not appear to be mediated through the autonomic nervous system, but it is accompanied by increased levels of plasma corticosterone.
