Abstract
Summary
Agglutinin titers for Macacus rhesus erythrocytes were higher in sera of infectious hepatitis patients than those of normal persons. The agglutinin was found to be a macroglobulin antibody (19 S), as shown by ultracentrifugation, zone electrophoresis, gel-filtration and sensitivity to heating and mercaptoethanol.
