Summary
Potent preparations of growth hormone-releasing factor (GRF) were prepared from bovine hypothalamic extracts, by the glacial acetic acid concentration procedure followed by gel filtration on Sephadex. Purified GRF is distinct from vasopressin, oxy-tocin, a-MSH and other hypothalamic-releasing factors.
