Summary
The secondary response in mice was characterized by the appearance first of gamma M globulin followed in 3 to 7 days by the appearance of gamma G globulin which then remained the principal circulating antibody. The titers of both gamma M and gamma G antibody appeared more rapidly and rose to higher levels after the second injection than after the initial antigenic exposure.
