Abstract
Summary
Oxygen consumption relative to lipid peroxidation was decreased in micro-somes from vitamin K-deficient; warfarin-treated, and dicumarol-treated rats. Vitamin K1, when added to the microsomal system, appears to function similarly to the artificial acceptor menadione and does not alleviate the differences between control and vitamin K-deficient animals observed in lipid peroxidation.
