Summary
MP-2001, a lower poly alkoxy derivative of estradiol, exhibits analgesic activity in a variety of animal species, including man. MP-2001 does not possess estro-genic activity. It is rapidly excreted from the body without radical change of the basic ste-roidal nucleus.
