Abstract
Summary
Plasma concentrations of unconjugated 17-OHCS were determined in both pregnant and nonpregnant rhesus monkeys. No significant difference in corticoid levels was observed throughout gestation. The half-life of exogenous 4 C14 cortisol was increased during pregnancy, although not to the same degree as that observed in the humans.
