Abstract
Summary
In dogs, antigen from a renal homotransplant was demonstrated in the blood leaving the kidney in the renal vein. The antigen was carried from the transplanted kidney to the host as a soluble substance within the host's plasma. The host's leukocytes were not implicated in this transport system. Antigen could not be detected in peripheral-vein blood.
