Abstract
Summary
The skinned hind leg preparation of normal and ganglionic-blocked cats was used to study the vasomotor effects of bradykinin. The local dilatation in skeletal muscle observed after close arterial infusion is unaltered by pretreatment with pentolinium to block normal constrictor tone. Ganglionic blockade itself increases resistance in this preparation by about 60%.
