Abstract
Summary
Bands containing hormonal activities of prolactin, GH, TSH and LH were localized on polyacrylamide gel electrophoretic columns. Prolactin activity was found predominantly in the fastest migrating major band. GH activity was associated with a major band migrating at a rate less than that of albumin. TSH and LH activity were found in slowly migrating components very near the origin, and were associated so closely that separate elution was not possible. FSH and ACTH activities were not detected. The possibility that similar hormonal activity may be present in several rather than a single band is suggested.
