Abstract
Summary
The plasma euglobulin plasminoplastin generation test (PGT) and the plasma and fibrin plate methods provide evidence that ATP-ase specifically inhibits plasma and urinary plasminoplastins and also shows some anti-lysokinase effect in the PGT, but not against streptokinase. These specific effects cannot be related to ATP. Certain nonspecific anti-SK and anti-plasmin effects of ATP-ase appear to be due to a heat-stable impurity, possibly free amino-acids.
