Abstract
Summary
An antigen which is suitable for detecting gononoccal antibody is obtained from Neisseria gonorrhoeae by phenol extraction. The results of employing this phenol extract antigen in a precipitin test, with 3 groups presumed free of gonococcal infection and 3 groups demonstrated to have gonococcal infection, indicate that it can detect gonococcal antibody in human sera.
