Abstract
Summary
A procedure has been described for the production of large volumes of CF antibody to antigens in hamster tumors induced by SV 40, polyoma, and adeno-18 viruses. Antibody titers in ascitic fluids were as high as those found in serum. Optimal titers of SV 40 antibody were obtained in animals which had growing tumors and were given a series of intraperitoneal inoculations of a combination of complete Freund's adjuvant mixed with tumor homogenate.
