Abstract
Summary
Immune anti-B antibody was detected by absorption of sera with certain rabbit red cells (BR), and agglutination and hemolysis of the absorbed serum with human group B red cells. The antibody (anti-Bi) activity was found only in IgG fraction. The method might be useful for detection of immune anti-B antibody in human sera especially in cases of hemolytic disease of the newborn due to group B incompatibility.
