Abstract
Summary
The clearance rate of indocyanine green was determined in 24 beagle dogs and 12 mongrel dogs. The results indicate that in the unanesthetized state, the purebred animals exhibited an increased rate of clearance of the dye and decreased T-1/2 when compared with the mongrel dogs. Several possibilities were discussed to account for the differences noted.
