Abstract
Summary
α, β, and γ polypeptide chains isolated from human hemoglobins A and F elicit the production of specific antibodies in rabbits. Antigen-antibody reactions, visualized by the Ouchterlony method, demonstrated that these antibodies form insoluble complexes only with their specific antigens and with the hemoglobins containing the peptide antigens.
