Abstract
Summary
Recently isolated strains of rubella virus as well as a stock strain regularly induce characteristic, easily recognized, cyto-pathic changes when adapted to a line of African green monkey cells established in this laboratory. The reaction of this cell line to infection provides a reliable and convenient means for titration of viral infectivity and assay of specific virus-neutralizing antibody.
