Abstract
Summary
Phosphorylase activity was measured in the liver of chick embryos at various stages of development. Enzyme activity increases abruptly between the 16th and 18th day of incubation, at a time when, according to previous studies, hepatic glycogen concentration and UDPG-glycogen transfer-ase activity decrease to relatively low values.
